Aaron S. McMurtrey
I lift my eyes up to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord.
The Maker of Heaven and Earth.
Psalm 121
When God changes you through regeneration, giving you new life through spiritual rebirth, your life initially has the characteristic of being maimed. There are a hundred and one things that you dare not do— things that would be sin for you, and would be recognized as sin by those who really know you. But the unspiritual people around you will say, “What’s so wrong with doing that? How absurd you are!” Yet it is better to enter into life maimed but lovely in God’s sight than to appear lovely to man’s eyes but lame to God’s. At first, Jesus Christ through His Spirit has to restrain you from doing a great many things that may be perfectly right for everyone else but not right for you. Yet, see that you don’t use your restrictions to criticize someone else.
Oswald Chambers
We all have those times when there are no flashes of light and no apparent thrill to life, where we experience nothing but the daily routine with its common everyday tasks. The routine of life is actually God’s way of saving us between our times of great inspiration which come from Him. Don’t always expect God to give you His thrilling moments, but learn to live in those common times of the drudgery of life by the power of God.
Oswald Chambers
Instead, let’s go as wounded healers who have reaped the benefits of God’s amazing grace and are more than ready to assist other broken folks in finding his mercy as well.
Kay Warren
You’re never persuasive when you’re abrasive. Speak the truth with love.
Rick Warren
We have to answer the current scientific attitude toward Christianity, not the attitude scientists adopted one hundred years ago. Science is in continual change and we must try to keep abreast of it. For the same reason, we must be very cautious at snatching at any scientific theory which, for the moment, seems to be in our favour. We may mention such things; but we must mention them lightly and without claiming that they are more than ‘interesting.’ Sentences beginning ‘Science has now proved’ should be avoided. If we try to base our apologetic on some recent development in science, we shall usually find that just as we have put the finishing touches to our argument science has changed its mind and quietly withdrawn the theory we have been using as our foundation stone.
C.S. Lewis
Jesus is alive… He’s alive! Oh happy day, happy day, He washed my sin away! I’ll never be the same, Forever I am changed!
Tim Hughes
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. For His mercy endureth forever.
Psalm 136:1
A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.
Theodore Roosevelt
God, You know where I’ve been, You were there with me then. You were faithful before, You’ll be faithful again. I’m holding Your hand. Your Love is enough, I will follow You. God I trust in You.

Grace I call Your name, oh won’t Your smile, fall over me.
I’m cracked and dry, on hands and knees.
Oh sweet Grace, rain down on me. I need You Grace.
